We have had a great first week back at school and I’ve
enjoyed getting to know the students in my class. We are getting into routine
and have focused on building a safe and positive classroom community and
celebrating our uniqueness. We created a collaborated art piece that turned out
more beautiful than I could have imagined. Each student was responsible for
decorating one square in whatever way they chose. We put them together and
voila … a masterpiece was created. We also did a writing piece called “All
About My Selfies”.
From now on students will be writing their own posts to
update you on all the learning going in the classroom … so check back soon. I
have a fantastic bunch of students and am looking forward to a great school
year!
